Porn Weekend Is Coming

Porn Weekend at the Journey is March 21 - 22. The provocative weekend is in conjunction with the church's teaching series Se7en: They May Be Deadly… But They Sure are Fun.

Just like in grade school when they used to separate the boys and the girls for sex ed (which for whatever reason was generally taught by gym teachers of all people), men and women will each have their own private events to encourage open communication:

Porn and Pancakes

Enjoy a real-man’s Pancake breakfast and hear from former porn producer Donny Pauling and founder of xxxchurch.com Craig Gross on the realities of the porn industry and the affects that pornography has on men.

When: 10am - 12pm on Saturday, March 21

Where: Brandeis High School (145 W 84th St. between Amsterdam & Columbus)

Cost: Tickets $10 in advance and $15 @ the door

Porn and Pastries

Join other women for some great pastries and hear from Shellie Warren (writer, author, public speaker) and Michelle Treaux (co-founder of Partners for Purity – a ministry for women who have been affected by the sexual sin of someone they love).

When: 1 - 3pm on Saturday, March 21

Where: Brandeis High School (145 W 84th St. between Amsterdam & Columbus)

Cost: Tickets $10 in advance and $15 @ the door

Then on Sunday, March 22, the Journey-Midtown will continue its series with “The Deadly Sin of Lust.” Services are held at 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM, and 6:30 PM. The church is located at Manhattan Center's Grand Ballroom is located at 311 W. 34th St. (between 8th and 9th Ave.) on the 7th Floor.
