Desmond Tutu and Thomas Cahill Speak on Death Row

Archbishop Desmond Tutu and bestselling historian Thomas Cahill will speak at The Riverside Church (490 Riverside Drive) tonight at 7:00 on the topic of the death penalty. The talk is in conjunction with Cahill's new book, A Saint on Death Row: The Story of Dominique Green, which tells this story:

Cahill became convinced that God was working through Dominique on Death Row and implored his good friend Archbishop Tutu to visit Dominique. Both Archbishop Tutu and Cahill came to believe that the Divine is present in the most unlikely of places.
