Where Are My Keys?..

If you've found yourself asking this question before heading to work in a rush, then FOUND:A Night With the Story Pirates may help you in your search. In fact, you may want to bring something you found on the way there: Perhaps a discarded bank receipt, a book on the subway, some random guy's grocery list, or the forty seven cents you've happened to 'discover' at the local mall fountain (make sure you dry your hands to get rid of the evidence). You may end up being a part of the night's entertainment... and will get a laugh getting a glimpse at the everyday minutae that is a part of everyone's lives (For fear of embarrassment and public humiliation, I will not bring any old love letters!)

The improvised play, inspired by Davy Rothbart's FOUND magazine (which displays collected discarded love letters, diary entries, lists, and pictures) and performed by the Story Pirates, will be hitting the Actor's playhouse June 4-6th with 2 shows at 7:30 and 9:30 PM, one on Friday. This group consists of teaching artists who perform throughout the NYC school system. Tickets are $25.00 and will benefit the Story Pirates 'Striking Viking' educational programs.

Finally, things you lose are usually where you last left them. Deep, spiritual, stuff here.
