I'll Have the Fresh Meat with a Side of Desperation

Complete in Christ Ministry is hosting an Oasis Singles Dinner Concert in Brooklyn on May 23. Have to say, we're loving the irony here: a ministry that purports that we should be complete in Christ is hosting an event that suggests we might possibly need/want more than just Christ while we're here on earth. It makes sense, though. Where else are you supposed to meet like-minded hotties -- er, servant-leaders? Anyway, here are the deets:

7:00 PM: Catered Italian Dinner (served until about 7:45 PM)
8:00 PM: Music & Message

Dinner menu consists of two choices:
Baked Ziti with Meat, Salad and Bread
Pasta Primavera in a White Sauce with Vegetables, Salad and Bread.

Dynamic Guest Speaker Wilton DeGraffe is the Singles Leader from the renowned Brooklyn Tabernacle church. He will share a relevant message for today’s single entitled “Is Life Passing You By? How To Overcome Obstacles and Realize Your Dreams.”

it depends on the event. some christian singles groups are meat markets, others aren't.
