Poster Boy Pastes Up 3rd Ward

You already know all about Shepard Fairey, but Poster Boy is the latest underground-turned-almost-mainstream artist to hit the circuit:

You’ve seen his work in the subways. Now you can check out the groundbreaking advertising cut and pastery of Poster Boy (but this time endorsed by the advertisers? Could this be?) in the gallery at 3rd Ward. Featuring the beats of DJ Mr. F snacks from BK Salsa, gift bags from Harper Perennial, ad creators and mash-uppers.

Pomp & Circumstance celebrates in the heart of art and culture in Brooklyn. Engage with the brands, artists and creators of a new class of tastemakers. Celebrate the diversity, creativity and innovation of the hottest borough in NYC.

It all goes down at 3rd Ward (195 Morgan Ave.; Brooklyn) tomorrow, April 24, from 7 PM to 12 AM. There's free admission and Dogfish while it lasts.
