It's a Perfect Day to See Lou Reed in Church

Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" will play this afternoon at Riverside Church (490 Riverside Drive):

On Thursday April 30th from 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., Carillon 2009 "Perfect Day" takes place both in New York and the Netherlands. Sjoerd Tamminga will play Lou Reed's song, Perfect Day, on Riverside's Laura S. Rockefeller Memorial Carillon.

This event is a part of the festivities celebrating the 400 years since Henry Hudson set foot on present-day Manhattan. During the day carillons all over the Netherlands will chime 'Perfect Day'. Lou Reed will attend this special performance at Riverside.
