Grownup Grunge: Part 1

As the economy plunges, grunge makes a resurgence.

Angela Chase, like, spoke the words our teenage minds couldn't articulate when she said things like, "Sometimes it seems like we're all living in some kind of prison. And the crime is how much we hate ourselves. It's good to get really dressed up once in a while. And admit the truth: that when you really look closely? People are so strange and so complicated that they're actually... beautiful. Possibly even me." And she did it wearing plaid.

Not only are we better at articulating ourselves but we are more secure in our body image. Now we wear more form-fitting shirts, even if they still are in plaid.
